The Rice Military neighborhood of Houston, Texas is a vibrant and convenient area whose history dates all the way back to World War I. Rice Military has a thriving arts scene, not to mention amazing dining, shopping, and activities. Known for it's Craft Beer Breweries and wineries and it's amazing walkability, this "Hub of Energy" attracts both the young and old alike!

When it comes to commutes, Rice Military does not disappoint. The area is one of Houston’s most easily accessible neighborhoods as it is surrounded by major interstates and freeways. Housing prices here range greatly: both affordable and luxury properties can be found. The high demand means the cost of living here is also increased. The typical homes in the area are City Homes that are 3 or 4 story homes. Because of the very close proximity to Downtown, the land prices are very expensive so developers typically build the homes vertically on small plots of land.
